Pooka's Bootlegs

I'm too lazy to actually build a decent looking page for this little lot - so you'll have to make do with this for now. Sooner or later I'll update it (if I remember) to make it look somewhat better, but for the most part I'm just lazy, so don't expect anything...

  • DJ Pooka - JoyKungFun

The first of my newest bootlegs a mix between 187 Lockdown's KungFu and Joy Kitikonti - Joyenergiser. Created first time around accidentally while building a 60 min mashup mix of various things, and I quite like the way it came out, so I thought I'd actually do it as a proper track seperate from the mix. I'm quite proud of the way it came out....

  • DJ Pooka - Planet of the Phat Dead Bitches

Probably my most complex single track mixes to date, a mix of Covenant's Dead Stars, The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up and Phat Planet by Leftfield. Again, I stumbled across this combination in the process of mixing the set, and it worked even better than I thought, so I took the set apart and built up this track. Personally, I think this one is my best bootleg to date....

  • DJ Pooka - Fragments

This is the beginning of my latest long mashup mix - edited slightly to transform it into a single track (incidentally, the same set produced the other two tracks as well - and if I can finish the thing off to my satisfaction I will find some way to get it online). This track is made up of Marco V - Simulated, Ferry Corsten's Rock Your Body, Killer by Adamski, Go by Moby and finally Energy Flash by Joey Beltram. The version used in Refragmented (the set) is slightly different in the arrangement, but it works well in both cases.

  • DJ Pooka - Goddhunter

I came up with the idea for this one a while ago, but never actually sat down and did the track. Finally, I've gotten around to actually getting it out of my head and onto the computer, and for once it came out almost exactly as I'd imagined it... A fairly simplistic mix of Talla 2XLC's remix of Front 242's Headhunter, and Godd by Marco V. Not bad for an hours work on a sunday morning ;)

All tracks by Pooka, mixed 2005 out of boredom. Email for any further info/questions/requests or other such stuff
